Add Hashimagic to your Home Screen

You need an iPhone on iOS 16.4 or later, and you must use Safari. Chrome and other browsers on iPhone cannot add Hashimagic to the Home Screen. The pictures below are illustrative guides to help you find each tap.

At present, one tap install is only available on Android. Apple doesn’t currently allow web apps to install automatically on iPhone, so iPhone users need to follow this guide. The Android help is just a fallback if the Install button doesn’t appear.
Screens can look slightly different depending on your phone and its Android or iOS version. If you get stuck, email Stephen@hashimagic.co.uk.

Tap Add

Check the name says Hashimagic. On iOS 26 or later, turn on Open as Web App if you see that switch. Then tap Add. The Hashimagic icon appears on your Home Screen.

Your diary stays on this icon. The Home Screen app keeps its own diary, separate from Safari. Use the same Hashimagic icon each time so your log stays in one place.
